An array of professional development opportunities are offered to support all teaching staff from induction through to the advanced knowledge and skills required to proficiently undertake quality face-to-face, blended and online teaching within a higher education institution.

PD by technology
Federation University has several supported technologies which can be used in the teaching space to enhance learning. A range of resources, how to guides, advice, links and examples are housed on the Learning Technologies Hub. PD by program
Two programs are facilitated to support a more comprehensive pedagogical underpinning to tertiary learning and teaching practices.
- The Academic Induction Program is offered to all new teaching staff to Federation University to provide key information, highlight available resources and develop networks to support their teaching role.
- The Graduate Certificate in Education (Tertiary Education) is a formal, postgraduate qualification to enable evidence-based scholarly practice.
