Tertiary compliance - TESQA & ASQA
Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TESQA)
The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) is Australia’s independent national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education. Their purpose is to protect student interests and the reputation of Australia’s higher education sector by assuring the quality of higher education providers through a risk-reflective approach to regulation. Their work is underpinned by encouraging, supporting and recognising effective quality assurance and enhancement in Australian higher education providers. All organisations that offer higher education qualifications in or from Australia (universities and non-universities) must be registered with TESQA.

Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)
The Australian Skills Quality Authority’s (ASQA) role as the national vocational education and training (VET) regulator is to accredit courses that may be offered and/or delivered by registered training organisations (RTOs). Accreditation with ASQA ensures that courses are nationally recognised and meet an established industry, enterprise, educational, legislative or community need.
