About Strategic Procurement
Strategic Procurement provides expertise and strategic guidance to staff responsible for purchasing goods and services on behalf of the University. This guidance covers all value of procurement spend and the auditable processes necessary to comply with the University's Procurement Policies and Procedures.

Strategic Procurement works collaboratively with businesses, government, community organisations and individuals to strengthen the social and economic outcomes in the regions in which our campuses are located.
Our primary objectives are to:
- guide and provide oversight to University staff in obtaining best value for money throughout the acquisition of goods and services through well controlled processes
- ensure that staff and the University are not exposed to undue personal or commercial risk
- purchase in an environmentally, socially, and ethically responsible framework
