Course approval process
- Refer to the VET Program Approval and Maintenance Procedure for information and forms when developing vocational education and training (VET) courses and units.
- Refer to the Approval and Maintenance of Award Courses (Higher Education) Procedure for information when developing higher education (HE) courses and units.
- Refer to the Short Courses Procedure for the approval of non-award and award short courses, which includes Industry and Custom short courses.

Course reviews
The Academic Board maintains oversight of the University's academic courses including five-yearly reviews of higher education courses, conducted in accordance with the Review of Established Sealed Award Courses (Higher Education) Procedure (LT1281).
