Get ready for uni - FedReady

Study Skills Course

Online & self-paced

Not sure what to expect when you start uni? Or just want to brush up on the basics before Semester 2?

FedReady is a free (but comprehensive) study skills course designed to boost your confidence, ease the nerves, and set you up for success from the start.

Work through 10 self-paced online modules to build essential academic skills and learn how to study smarter (not harder), so you can focus on succeeding, not stressing.

It’s your chance to settle in, feel supported, and take the pressure off before classes begin.

Available on Moodle from 6 June.

What will I learn?

FedReady covers the key academic skills you need to succeed at uni. You’ll learn how to:

  • plan assignments
  • think critically
  • reference correctly
  • manage your time
  • navigate the library and uni systems
  • access support service

You’ll have access to pre-recorded classes and optional Q&A drop-in sessions, so you can learn at your own pace with no pressure. Set aside around 20–25 hours to complete the course. We recommend finishing it (and the optional assessments) before Semester 2 classes start.
