Biography

Robeena is a registered nurse with over 20 years of combined experience in clinical nursing and nursing education. Robeena has clinical experience in emergency, cardiac, medical, and mental health nursing. She has worked in various mental health settings since 2005. Robeena started working at Federation University as a nursing lecturer in 2021. She has previously worked at Holmesglen as a sessional lecturer in nursing. She is passionate about teaching and dedicated to achieving positive student outcomes. She is involved in multiple research studies with a focus on mental health and the CALD population.

Areas of expertise

Robeena is primarily a nurse who has worked in various areas. She has worked mostly in the area of mental health with a specific interest in adolescents and CALD people’s mental health and wellbeing. Robeena has published an article in the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Journal about the work she has done to promote mental health awareness for migrant adults in Victoria.
