Biography

Helena Anolak is a registered nurse and midwife with experience practicing in a range of local, national, and international clinical areas in diverse settings such as Canada, Kenya, and the UK.

Helena has been working with Federation University Australia since 2022 and is currently the Program Coordinator of the perinatal and infant mental health Master of Health program. She is also the clinical placement coordinator for all midwifery and related disciplines

Helena loves all things pregnancy and birth with her research interests laying in human rights, perinatal mental health, antenatal care, and arts in health. Her PhD focuses mainly on the fetal-maternal bond and the transition to motherhood which aligns with her passion for improving and strengthening maternity care for women and their families.
