We want to improve the student learning experience at Federation. We want to make sure our teaching is high quality. That the resources are clear and engaging. That students feel supported and comfortable.

The Student Feedback Survey (SFS) is designed to find out what students think about the content and delivery of their units (and placement if applicable). It is carried out in accordance with the Student Feedback Survey Procedure.

Note: The SFS replaces the SELT survey.

Invitations and prizes

Towards the end of each teaching period, every enrolled Fed student will receive an email and SMS with links to the SFS. Some surveys will also be accessible through Moodle. Completing the SFS is optional, but there may be prizes offered as incentive.

Anonymity

All SFS feedback is de-identified and combined with other responses before being shared with teaching staff.

Results

Academic staff use the data to identify strengths and areas for improvement, guide professional development and enhance unit content and delivery.
