Students as Partners is our way of saying that when it comes to running a university, we’re committed to giving our students a voice and a seat at the table. 

We’re talking the leadership, planning and decision-making. Because you’re the experts at knowing what you need to make your life at uni the best it can be. What needs a tweak, what needs to stay the same and what needs significant change.

Student Ambassadors

Instead of just telling people why they should study at Fed, we show them. Our Student Ambassadors are the face of Fed. They’re the ones you meet at Open Days and watch on TikTok—no paid actors here, just real Fed students.

Have your voice heard and be part of driving positive change. We’re committed to intersectional diversity and need changemakers—students with great ideas and a passion for making a difference. If you can spot the difference between what looks good on paper and what actually works, we want you!

Nominations are open for students to join the Academic Board, Learning and Teaching Quality Committee, and Research Committee. You have until Friday, 27 September 2024, to get your nominations in.

A lot of the on-campus support roles are paid. Yep, you read that right! We usually offer them every semester before the new cohort arrives. Some you apply for, others you get elected into. Bookmark the Student Leadership Hub, and watch for e-newsletters and posters around campus for updates.
