This is the start of something amazing. Celebrate your newness.

Feeling nervous? That's normal. But we know how you can make your transition to uni easier: get amongst it at Orientation.

If you're doing a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) mark Monday 17 February to Wednesday, 19 February 2025 in your diary. (Classes start Monday, 3 March 2025). And because your Orientation is earlier than other courses, you’ll basically have the campus to yourself.

Steps for a smooth start

Step 1
Enrol in your units if you haven't already.

Step 2
Register for Orientation. You'll get a nifty reminder and you can add the sessions to your calendar. If you're a Bass or Wonthaggi student, you're invited to the Gippsland Orientation.

Step 3
Register for FedReady Self-paced

Step 4
Explore the Psychology resources

Step 5
Start gathering your mandatory documents

Step 6
Pack your bags. We've got a handy list of what to bring (including your laptop) below—just scroll down. Then sit back and relax—we can’t wait to welcome you to Federation.

All done? Great! Check out the full list of pre-study essentials here
