Higher Education Diplomas and Foundation Studies (International)

Dip into university

Finding English tricky? Not confident with academic basics? No problem. Completing Foundation Studies or a higher education diploma will bring you up to speed and guarantee you entry into the first or second year of an undergraduate degree. There are three specialist diploma areas to choose from – Business, Engineering and Information Technology – and you’ll feel totally supported by our small class sizes and extra contact hours. We’ll make sure your uni initiation is stress free.

Prepare for your dream course at Federation.

Your compulsory International Orientation schedule

We want you to feel right at home here, so we're running an extra orientation day just for you. Yes, you do have to attend, but no, we won't make you eat Vegemite (unless you want to). During registration students will be allocated to a group (A or B) and given specific Orientation schedules (which will include an information session, free lunch and enrolment session).

You'll get to practice all kinds of basic academic skills. Yes – practice. Not hear about. This is a hands-on session. And there's free food.

Register for your sessions

After you take in your Orientation schedule you can register for as many sessions as you like. It's easy. Registration isn't compulsory, but it means you'll get a nifty reminder and you can add the sessions to your calendar.
