Starting uni can be daunting. The research. The essays and reports. The online systems. Our Uni Skills Day will give you the head start you need.

You'll get go:

  • practice essential academic skills
  • pull apart assessment tasks
  • meet other students
  • explore Moodle (online study platform)
  • learn time-management strategies
  • find out about our study support services.

Feel prepared, organised and confident about starting your journey at Federation – even before you leave home!

Join one of our free, all-in-one online sessions designed especially for international students. In just one hour, you'll learn everything you need to know about:

  • Moving to and living in Australia
  • Enrolment and orientation
  • Essential support services and study skills

1 - Student ID number (it's on your Offer Letter).

2 - Laptop, notepad & pen.

3 - Bank card (we're cashless). There’ll be loads of free food, but if you want a coffee or something extra, you'll need to tap.

4 - Smile and an open mind. Bring excitement to meet new people and explore campus life.

5 - Dress comfortably, and don’t forget your questions—this is your chance to get answers!
