Qualtrics

Qualtrics is the internal survey tool used at the University.

Qualtrics is a tool where staff can create unlimited Federation-branded surveys to collect data for teaching and research purposes. Surveys can be short or long, and have conditions or logic applied. Data is stored in secure cloud storage in accordance with applicable data privacy laws. Staff have full control over survey structure and data exporting.

Requesting access to create surveys

All Federation University staff have a Qualtrics account automatically generated, which allows them to log in to the Qualtrics system. If you would like to create or edit existing surveys in the system, you will need to request additional access. To request a change of access level:

  1. Log in to Qualtrics to create your account.
  2. Head to the Student System Access Form and log in if prompted. Alternatively, you can find the form in the ITS Support Catalog.
  3. Fill out your details, select the "Qualtrics" option and select the "Additional Access" option on the second page. Submit the form and await approval. Once approved, you will be able to log in and create and edit surveys.
